Swansea City had a poor festive period with Graham Potter’s side only taking four points from a possible 12, so Potter is likely to be turning to the transfer market as he looks to freshen up his squad.
One player of interest, is 27-year-old Norwich striker Nelson Oliveira according to Alan Nixon on Twitter, who is out of favour at Carrow Road and who has already enjoyed a loan spell at Swansea back in 2015.
So would Oliveira be a good signing for Swansea?
I’d be intrigued to see how that’s going to work with Oli McBurnie but if they do dovetail it could be devastating.
He’s a good player that needs confidence – let’s see if the Swans can hand that to him.
He’s not be especially successful at Norwich, but he’s a talented boy with a lot to offer.
Swansea are one of those middle ground teams, not likely to trouble the bottom or the top.
It’ll be interesting to see if he goes there just how good he is, given the chance.
I’m not sure about this at all.
Oliveira clearly has an attitude and whether that will fit into Graham Potter’s ethos and philosophy is questionable.
There is no doubting that he is a top striker on his day, but I think it’d be better for him to make a move to another club instead of Swansea.
