David Wagner looks set to return to management in English football, with West Brom closing in on the appointment of the 49-year-old.

The Baggies look set to appoint Wagner as successor to Sam Allardyce, who departed the Hawthorns at the end of last season following relegation from the Premier League.

Wagner's task will be to replicate what he produced at Huddersfield in 2016/17, after guiding the Terriers to Premier League football for the first time in their history.
