QPR have announced their sixth signing of the summer, with the arrival of Rotherham's Dominic Ball.

The defender has signed on a two-year deal following his release by Rotherham, and will reunite with Mark Warburton, who he played for at Rangers in a loan spell in 2015/16.

The 22-year-old also had two loan spells at Aberdeen, and only featured for Rotherham 15 times since signing in 2016.

Ball is Warburton's third defensive addition after the arrival of Lee Wallace and Yoann Barbet, and although he is unlikely to be a starter at the beginning of the season, he will provide competition for the likes of Barbet and Toni Leistner.

Warburton's preference for former players hasn't been lost on the QPR faithful, but it is at least a positive sign that he is using his contacts well and he is a manager players like to play for.
