Forest Argentina, a group of Nottingham Forest fans from the south American country, have voted Andy Reid as the best Reds player from the last decade.

The vote consisted of a number of top players from over the years with Chris Cohen and Andy Reid meeting in the final for the vote - and it was Reid who prevailed to win the vote.

The Dublin-born midfielder was clearly thankful and appreciative of being nominated for this, responding on Twitter: 'Thanks guys!!! I'm honoured!!!'

There has been an array of impressive Forest stars over the years, with Michail Antonio, Matty Cash, Brice Samba, Joe Lolley and Robert Earnshaw all featuring highly in Forest Argentina's list.

Reid is undoubtedly a Nottingham Forest legend, starting his career at the club back in 1998 and he went on to make hundreds of appearances for the club.

The 37-year-old made 144 appearances for the Reds between 2000 and 2005, before sealing a switch to north London outfit Tottenham.

He later on returned to the City Ground in 2011, staying there in a playing capacity until 2016.

Reid know works as a coach with the club's under-23's whilst also assisting with the Republic of Ireland under-18's.
