There is always guaranteed drama in the second tier of English football and this is as likely to happen at the bottom as it is at the top.

Last season, Reading, Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City only secured survival on the last day of the season, sending Barnsley and Burton Albion down in their place.

As it stands with Sky Bet, the three favourites for relegation are newly promoted Rotherham United at 6/5, Bolton at 11/8 and Ipswich Town at 3/1.

The Millers have become a bit of a yo-yo team in recent seasons with last term's play-off final victory securing an immediate return to the second tier.

Bolton have failed to strengthen their team much over the summer so could well be in trouble again this campaign, whereas Ipswich could hit rocky ground without Mick McCarthy at the helm.

But who will face the heartbreaking drop out of the Championship this season?

We discuss...

George Dagless

Rotherham, Bolton and Reading seem in trouble.

Rotherham and Bolton know that they are going to be fighting relegation this season and Reading seem well undercooked before with the season upon us.

Gary Hutchinson

I fear for a few teams, but Ipswich, Rotherham and Bolton all look very susceptible to me.

Ipswich might realise how life without big Mick isn't actually a bed of roses, whereas Rotherham are stuck as a yo-yo side for the time being.

Alfie Burns

I can see Rotherham struggling, whilst Bolton Wanderers don’t look in the best shape either at this stage.

There will be a couple of surprises in there too.

I’m not convinced by what Ipswich Town have been doing this summer – they could be one team to struggle.

Jay Taylor

There are a clutch of clubs who are going to struggle this season.

The teams that come up may struggle, there are teams in the division that are living off borrowed time.

I'm going to go for Reading, Bolton and Rotherham to get relegated from the Championship this season.
