The Second City derby is always a fixture that the fans relish, but at this stage of the season, the clash between Aston Villa and Birmingham City is of added consequence with both sides desperate for a win if they are to stand any outside chances of a Championship play-off place.

Birmingham have been resurgent in recent weeks and are up to eighth in the table, four points off sixth placed Bristol City whilst Villa are down in eleventh a further two points behind.

So then what will the score be in this latest Second City derby?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“Draw.

“These games are often close and tense, especially towards the end of the season with so much at stake.

“I can see a score draw too, maybe 1-1.

“Che Adams will have a big say, his battle with Mings will be fascinating.”

Jay Taylor

“Derby games are usually quite poor in quality as there is so much nervous energy around the ground on the day.

“The six-goal game at Villa Park was a chance to how local games usually go, but I think being at Birmingham it will be closer.

“I'm going for a 1-1 draw.”

Sam Rourke

"Birmingham could edge it.

"I've got a feeling that Monk's men could get one over their arch-rivals.

"In front of a raucous St Andrew's atmosphere, I could see the Blues' team-spirit and unity prevailing over Dean Smith's men, it'll be tight though.
