Reading ran out 1-0 winners away to Leeds United yesterday as they scored a crucial victory after what has been a miserable start to the season for the Royals.

The winner came courtesy of new summer signing Mo Barrow, who slotted in to Jaap Stam's men the crucial three points, and Barrow insists he is on his way back to his best after seeing his start with the club disturbed by injury so far.

"I'm getting there slowly, the physio, Jon (Urwin), has been helping me a lot.  I'm getting there slowly but hopefully I can keep going." Barrow said to the official Royals website.

Barrow joined the club in the summer from Swansea, and getting the winner against Leeds may well have been written in the stars, with the winger spending some time on loan at Elland Road last season when Garry Monk was in charge.

Barrow though was also quick to praise his teammates, and especially midfielder Joey Van Den Berg, who laid the winner on a plate for him.

"Joey's a good player, he's intelligent. Sometimes when he has the ball he can tell you to go in behind, where he can feed you. He did a fantastic pass and I came on against the keeper, so then I could just finish it one-touch." added Barrow.

The win moved Reading up the table and manager Stam will be hoping they can now kick on and begin to replicate some of last season's form which saw them reach the playoff final.

Reading fans, what do you think to your start? Is Barrow going to be a good signing? Let us know!
