Queens Park Rangers have announced that Albert Adomah has signed a new contract with the club keeping him at Loftus Road for another two years.

The winger first joined Rangers back at the start of the 2020/21 season and despite being out of contract at 34-years-old this summer, the club are keen to keep the player who's done well and been popular since joining.

Adomah has made 72 appearances in all competitions over the last two years and scored two goals so he will be looking to continue having an impact next season.

The player is pleased to be remaining with the club as he said to the club's Official Media: "I'm back baby! The dream continues and hopefully it will be a successful season. I cant wait to carry on this amazing journey.

"I spoke to the gaffer and he told me he wanted me at the club so straight away it was a no brainer.

"I can't wait to work with him and I am also grateful to the club for allowing me to continue my dream of playing in the blue and white hoops.

"I can't wait to play in front of our amazing supporters again. I know the stadium has returned to Loftus Road now and that's how I always remember it so it is going to be very special."

The Verdict:

This is a good contract extension for QPR.

Adomah has had a good impact since joining the club and shown that, despite his age, he still has plenty of talent on the wings to help his side.

As a childhood fan of the club, it's clear that the 34-year-old is happy to be staying and is fully committed to the project that is taking place at Loftus Road ahead of the new season.

Michael Beale will be hoping he can take his side up the league so they can push for promotion and as well as adding to the effort on the pitch, you can imagine the experienced man will have plenty to give in the dressing room to help this effort too.
