Middlesbrough secured a 2-0 victory against Bolton Wanderers last night to put their promotion push back on track after the weekend.

Goals from George Saville and Britt Assombalonga secured the points for Tony Pulis' men, lifting them back into second place after losing at Norwich on Saturday. They enjoyed much more possession than their opponents and had more shots on goal too.

Saville was delighted to get off the mark after his move from Millwall and he tweeted how happy he was to bag a goal in his first appearance at the Riverside for his new club. That brought a host of fans out, all wanting to congratulate him on getting off the mark so early.

Some cited his goal as a reason for praise, others picked up on a block he performed in the box which stopped a certain chance for Bolton. Overall, his home debut is certainly one he'll remember, as will the fans we've found on Twitter, apart from the one Millwall fan who managed to get an opinion in!
