Jay Stansfield has been earmarked as one of the brightest talents at Fulham this season, and his good form has been rewarded with a first professional contract.

The teenage striker signed for the club in 2019 from Exeter City after completing his secondary school education, and he has been making a name for himself at under-18 and under-23 level.

Stansfield has already scored 22 goals this season as an under-18, his form then earning him a first game at under-23 level in which he scored 11 minutes after coming off the bench.

The form that the youngster has been showing hasn't gone unnoticed by first-team manager Scott Parker either, who has handed the forward two games at senior level over the past month.
