Within all the hysteria of yesterday’s badge reveal, it is easy to forget that Leeds United remain a football club, who still have almost a week of the January transfer window remaining to tinker with their squad.  

As expected, with time ticking down on the transfer window, Leeds are involved in business that will see both arrivals and departures.

The Yorkshire Evening Post’s Phil Hay, who works closely with the club, has confirmed that two players could potentially be on the move this week, with Mallik Wilks edging closer to another loan away from Elland Road, this time with Carlisle United willing to take a chance on the teenager.

Andy Lonergan is another that Leeds could lose in the coming days, with Sunderland reportedly keen to take the goalkeeper away from Elland Road.

Hay has reported that should Lonergan leave, Leeds could move to sign Adam Bogdan as a loan replacement, although they aren’t in a rush to let their current number two leave.
