Queens Park Rangers’ midfielder Ilias Chair took to social media yesterday to reflect on his side’s 3-2 win at Hull City on Saturday, as his side go fifth in the Championship after Round 12.

Mark Warburton’s QPR moved up to fifth in the Championship, after coming from behind to beat Hull on Saturday.

Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring for the home side, before Ryan Manning levelled things just before the break.

Ebere Eze slotted home two second-half penalties to give QPR the win, with Josh Magennis scoring a late consolation for QPR.

It was QPR’s fourth win in six games as they certify themselves as real contenders for promotion from the Championship this season.

One of the standout performers for Warburton this season has been Ilias Chair.

The 21-year-old has come to the fore under Warbruton this season, featuring in all but one of QPR’s games in the Championship this season.

After Saturday’s win, he took to Instagram to share a message with the fans:

Chair started the game in the middle of the midfield three, playing just behind Nahki Wells.

He was substituted with a few minutes remaining, making way for Luke Amos who made his first appearance since mid-September.

The verdict

There's something in the West London water this season.

Warburton has galvanised a broken QPR who only finished three places above the drop last season, and has made real play-off contenders out of his side.

Chair has been a revelation at QPR this season and the fans adore him - although his goals tally isn't what he'll want it to be, he's a solid team player and integral part of Warburton's set-up at QPR.
