Blackburn Rovers have some restructuring to do ahead of next season.

Tony Mowbray was able to guide Blackburn back into the Championship at the first time of asking.

However, now he has the tough task of ensuring they stay in the division and avoid a period of instability.

Changes will need to be made to this squad in terms of incomings and outgoings in order to get in good shape for the Championship.

They do have a strong spine with players such as David Raya, Charlie Mulgrew, Richard Smallwood and Bradley Dack, so it's a case of adding to that with smart signings.

Here are three transfers which would help the club substantially...

Oztumer has been linked with the club, although that died down recently as Bolton were in pole position for his signature. However, has been signed yet, so there is a chance for Blackburn to sneak in and sign him.

They should be able to offer a better contract because of Bolton's financial situation, which is the key factor because he is a free agent. He would be an excellent addition for attacking midfield along Dack, which increases Mowbray's options because it allows him to rotate or even play them both against a stubborn defence.

Adam Armstrong was a big success on loan last season, but he is unlikely to return. Therefore, a delve into the loan market for another talented prospect would be a good alternative, with Nmecha fitting that mould.

The Manchester City striker has only made two substitute appearances and is yet to go out on loan, but this would be a good place to start. He represents a risk, but he is supremely talented for his age. Nmecha is ready for the next step in his career because he scored 15 goals in 11 Premier league 2 games, so Blackburn should offer him the chance.

Caddis isn't needed in the squad because they have Ryan Nyambe and Elliott Bennett for the right-back role, so they should sell him off rather than letting him go on a free next summer. He was only involved in 14 league games and his age counts against him because hie is 30-years-old, with Nyambe being a much younger option for the role.

Mowbray will have to streamline in order to make it effective for this level and Caddis is one of those players they no longer need. His experience in the Championship and League One means it's likely that there will be potential suitors for him
