Wolverhampton Wanderers have looked nothing short of sensational so far this season.

Nuno Santo has made his mark on the Black Country side, and they are playing some superb free-flowing, attacking football.

With Wolves possessing the likes of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Helder Costa, they boast one of, if not the best attacking force in the Sky Bet Championship.

However, when it comes to natural strikers at the club, Santo can only really rely on loanee Leo Bonatini - so reinforcements are seemingly needed.

Should Santo invest in a new striker in the January transfer window?

Bonatini is doing a wonderful job, but yes without a doubt.

Relying on the Brazilian is too much of a risk for Wolves, who have ambitions of the top-flight.

Bringing a high-profile name to Molineux in January could give Nuno’s squad a huge push in their quest for promotion.

Chris Gallagher

Yes definitely, and it would finish the squad off nicely.

Only Hull have scored more goals than Wolves this season, but they still need another striker. They were fantastic against Villa but the goals only came with Leo Bonatini on the pitch – and he's the only striker at the club.

If he suffered an injury Wolves would be much easier to defend against, so they still need to buy in January.

If they get one give them the title!

Arguably, it's only up top where Wolves really lack options and I mean that in terms of a proper out and out striker that leads the line.

Yes, the likes of Diogo Jota and Helder Costa can play there but I'd suggest that Nuno Santo wants someone to push Leo Bonatini and so I'd say getting another No.9 type player would be ideal.
