Sheffield Wednesday take on leaders Wolves tomorrow with the pressure seriously mounting on manager Carlos Carvalhal.

The Owls are ten points away from the play-offs and some reports surfaced suggesting that the boss will be sacked if they fail to win tomorrow.

Unfortunately for Carvalhal, he is up against the league leaders who boast a seven-game unbeaten run.

With the likes of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Ivan Cavaleiro expected to start, this is a rare occasion where Wednesday will start as big underdogs for a Championship game at Hillsborough.

Despite the contrasting form between the sides, Wolves were held to a goalless draw by Sunderland last week and have lost on the road to QPR and the Owls rivals Sheffield United.

So, how do Wednesday beat Wolves on Friday night? We take a look...

Alfie Burns

Attack!

Nuno’s side are sure to be at their dangerous best as they look to return to winning ways, and stopping a formidable attack will be hard for Sheffield Wednesday.

For me, the Owls have nothing to lose and will have to go for it at the weekend.

Obviously Carvalhal will give Wolves the respect they deserve, but it would be nice to see his side have a real go at the champions-elect.

They have to start fast, if they don't do this i'd be worried.

It's going to be a tough game, that's for sure, but I think the Owls can produce an upset if they believe in themselves.

They've got quality across the pitch, they just lack confidence, and if they can start well they've got a chance.

Adam Simeoni

With a whole lot of luck and a completely new approach.

Carvalhal has got to go for it. Sitting back and absorbing pressure against this Wolves side is a recipe for disaster, as Santo has the players to break the Owls down.

If Wednesday come out the blocks and surprise their guests, they have a fighting chance.
