QPR may not be in serious contention for a Championship play-off spot this campaign, but the development of attackers Eberechi Eze and Bright Osayi-Samuel has been a major positive from the season.

Eze has continued to display many moments of brilliance which saw him initially break into the side last term, while Osayi-Samuel has followed on from last season by producing plenty of attacking success for Mark Warburton's side.

Both of these young talents have become key figures in Warburton's plans at the West London outfit this term, with Osayi-Samuel having now firmly established himself in the side after starting all of QPR's last 10 league matches.

However, the 22-year-old's bright performances saw him attract reported January interest from Premier League side Southampton, according to Football Insider, with Osayi-Samuel's current Rs deal set to expire this coming summer.

A question has now been posed on QPR fan Facebook group QPR Pride of London asking whether the club will be able to fend off likely top-flight interest to maintain Osayi-Samuel's services by the end of the summer months.

Plenty of QPR supporters have responded to this by expressing their hope that the attacker will remain with the Hoops, while others suggested they could be set to lose Osayi-Samuel if the money is right.

Here are some of the responses...

Lee Monaghan: Hope so 🙏😅😅

Adam Zoe Witherall: No we probably won’t but it would be good for him to sign a new contract and give us a chance of getting good money for him!

Norman Ruttloff: His deal running out is a big mistake. If he is clever he stays.

Matthew Impey:  Deal or no deal, if the money is right he's off.

Frank Mimnagh: Hope so.

Rick Guainiere: Sad to say the players and club are almost at the mercy of greedy agents.
