QPR boss Steve McClaren will be hoping to improve on a mediocre season under Ian Holloway.
QPR finished last season comfortably away from the relegation zone in 16th place, but they rarely threatened to finish in the top half.
Therefore, the season had little excitement about it even though they needed to ensure they stayed in the division due to the Financial Fair Play sanctions.
McClaren was brought in with the intention of developing the talented prospects they have through his coaching, with the plan to either make them first-teamers or sell them on for a high price.
However, the transfer business this summer will be important in making his mark on the team as limited as that will be.
