Sheffield United have got a tense end to the season as they make a final push for the Championship play-off places in hope of obtaining promotion to the Premier League.

Leon Clarke has been the goalscoring talisman for the Blades this season, banging 15 goals and currently the fourth top goalscorer of the Championship.

Whether in the second tier or top-flight next season, Blades boss Chris Wilder will have one eye on the summer and who he can recruit to make the Sheffield United side as strong as possible.

We look ahead to the two players that Sheffield United could sign in the summer who could be as good as Leon Clarke...

Peterborough United striker Jack Marriott has been banging in goals for fun this season, with 25 goals in League One so far, Marriott has been the stand-out player to boost Peterborough in to potential promotion candidates in League One.

Marriott has even managed five braces and a hat-trick so far this season - and if Posh don't manage promotion from League One, a move to Bramall Lane could be on the cards for the young Englishman if he wants a ticket to the Championship.

Despite only making the move to London Road in the summer - an impressive goal return in his first season at Peterborough is likely to make him hot property with a number of Championship sides likely to battle it out for his signature!

Lewis Grabban has been banging goals for both Aston Villa and Sunderland this season whilst on-loan from Premier League outfit Bournemouth.

Grabban has 16 goals across both loan stints and will be hoping a chance to impress in the Premier League with Bournemouth next season. That said, his proven goalscoring ratio in the Championship this season is likely to see clubs battling it out for his signature with just a year on his current deal left at Bournemouth.

Grabban's goals could also see him potentially seek a permanent move to Villa Park if they secure Premier League football next season - either way, a move to Sheffield United would be a massive coup for the Blades if they can pull it off!
