Reading defender Liam Moore has been a stand out player for the Royals this season, an ever present in defence, Reading's own personal brick wall - even popping up with the odd goal as well!

Reading fans will be hoping they've done enough to avoid the drop zone, but currently sit just five points above the relegation places - despite the better goal difference than their surrounding teams.

One thing is for sure, Reading really need to regroup in the summer and that recruitment at the end of the season will be a massive piece of the puzzle in changing their fortunes next season.

At Football League World, we've outlined these two players who could be just as good as Liam Moore next season if Reading were to make a move...

Ipswich Town defender Adam Webster has been a pivotal part of the Tractor Boys' defence this season, despite missing just over a month through an Achilles injury in January.

Webster signed for Ipswich in summer 2016 from Portsmouth after coming through the ranks at Fratton Park and establishing himself as a solid brick-wall of a centre-half.

Good with both his feet, as well as available as a no-nonsense centre-half, Webster has established himself as a key part of the Ipswich defence - even in recent games where they've switched to a back three.

With Reading leaking goals all over the place as they fight against relegation, Webster would be a great fit at the Madejeski to fix that leaky defence.

Chey Dunkley has been a rock at the heart of the Wigan Athletic defence this season.

His partnership with Dan Burn has contributed to the Latics' superb defensive record this year.

Dunkley would be a great signing for the Royals.
