Sheffield Wednesday remain winless under manager Tony Pulis after their 1-1 draw with Reading last night and the return of Lucas Joao to Hillsborough has proven a talking point among many Owls fans.

Callum Paterson headed Wednesday into the lead after 12 minutes but their night was made more difficult when Liam Shaw was shown a straight red card on the half-hour mark.

Joao grabbed a goal against his former club when he nodded in the equaliser one minute before the half and neither side was able to break the deadlock in the second half.

The Portuguese striker's goal was his 13th in 15 games this season, a period which has also seen him provide four assists.

Joao spent four years with Wednesday but left the club last summer to join the Royals and has looked a different player with the Berkshire outfit.

The 27-year-old scored 29 goals in 127 appearances for the Owls and is only 10 goals short of that tally for Reading already, despite making just 34 appearances for his new club.
