Fenerbahce have reportedly agreed a ‘deal in principle’ for Reading forward George Puscas.
Turkish outlet Yeni Akit Gazetsi have reported that Fenerbahce have agreed to sign Puscas when the transfer window reopens, with a loan-to-buy deal potentially in the works.
Puscas, 24, became Reading’s record arrival when he moved from Inter Milan last summer.
He’s since scored 11 goals in all competitions for the club, with nine of those coming in the Championship.

He’s been no stranger to criticism this season though, and that price-tag hasn’t helped him. But as the season’s progressed, the fans have warmed to him.
Reading could be forced to sell Puscas due to the current financial climate, and it’s triggered a response from fans on social media. They want to see Puscas remain at the club despite the costs, and fulfil his potential in the Championship.
On the other hand, some would rather the club take the money, and revert to previous recruitment strategies rather than taking risks on players like Puscas.
Here’s what they had to say:
I hope it’s true. The club is teetering on the edge of the financial abyss and we need to get these overpaid players off the books.

Couldn’t care less. The sooner we go back to our tried and tested buy from the lower leagues model the better. Brentford adopted it and look at them now. It works. No need for these huge fees and wages.

Try before you buy , or a way they are exploiting our financial situation, if he goes we are done for next season unfortunately, good news is we will be losing some top earners which aren’t first team players end of this season so wages won’t be an issue, strong tight squad needed

Surely these latest rumours aren’t true 😂 If we sell George Puscas it’s exactly the same as when #ReadingFC got rid of Orlando Sa.
Sign a quality striker who we can mould an attack around for years to come, the best at the club, then sell at the first opportunity #TheReadingWay
