In the last few weeks, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's position as manager of QPR has come under much scrutiny.

Although a timely win against Bristol City on Tuesday night relieved some pressure for the former Burton Albion boss, Hasselbaink has been under huge pressure in recent weeks, after he was named in the Daily Telegraph's investigation into bribery within football.

Despite the QPR board backing him, their win again Bristol City was their first home win since the opening day of the season, and unless the Dutchman can help his side achieve more consistency, he may be shown the exit door.

If Hasselbaink does depart Loftus Road this season, here are THREE managers who would be the perfect replacement...

Ryan Giggs

It is only a matter of time before Ryan Giggs enters the managerial scene, and a club like QPR would represent a fantastic opportunity for him.

Giggs' experience whilst working as assistant manager at Manchester United will be important should he make an impact in his first proper managerial job in football.

A young team with plenty of potential such as QPR would be the perfect club for Giggs to make his mark with.

Tim Sherwood

Tim Sherwood is still without a job since his departure from Aston Villa, and he could be the perfect fit for QPR.

His passionate and fiery style could be exactly what the R's need to help propel them further up the table and push them closer to the play-off positions.

Despite a disappointing spell at Villa Park, Sherwood was superb at his time at Tottenham Hotspur and if he can replicate his work at White Hart Lane at a club such as QPR, he could certainly help them push for promotion.

Nigel Pearson

Pearson failing to make an impact at Derby after his appointment in pre-season shocked many across the Football League.

His proven track record at clubs such as Hull City and most notably at Leicester City is proof that Pearson knows how to get results in the Championship.

Despite only winning three out of his 14 games at the Rams this season before his sacking, Pearson will undoubtedly be in demand for other clubs in need of a manager at different points across the season, and QPR could be the perfect club for Pearson to make a name for himself once again.
