Wolves will already be well underway in terms of planning for the Premier League and it could see a lot of big names arrive at Molineux in the summer.

Having attracted the likes of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and Willy Boly to the Black Country in the Championship, there's excitement and intrigue about who they could sign as a top-flight club.

Owners Fosun International have shown their ambition and the influence of Jorge Mendes is only going to help bring in more high-profile arrivals.

With key figures at the club stating that they will be targeting more than just survival next season, the expectation is starting to build around Wolves.

Indeed, there is even some suggesting that a top ten finish back in the Premier League is more than possible and it'll be interesting to see if they can achieve just that.

Here we look at three players who would be real statement signings...

The Portugal number one has been linked by Gianluca Di Marzio with Wolves in recent days although Italian giants Napoli are also said to be interested.

However, it would be a massive signing for the club if they could pull it off, with Patricio proving himself to be a top keeper over recent years with Sporting Lisbon and the national team.

At just 30-years old he has a lot still to offer as well.

His Sporting Lisbon teammate would be another big signing for the newly-promoted side.

Carvalho has regularly been linked with a move away from the Portuguese capital with West Ham thought to have enquired for the player in previous windows.

With real strength and quality on the ball, he would settle into the Premier League with ease.

The one position Wolves desperately need to strengthen is up front.

They have few options up there and Silva would be the perfect addition. He has the link-up play to suit Wolves style but most importantly is a goalscorer.

Nuno Espirito Santo knows that from working with him at Porto and given his lack of game time at AC Milan, he could be on the move this summer.
