Garry Monk hasn't endured the start he would have wished for with Birmingham City this season with his side just four points off the relegation places.

Monk's side have won just one league game all season, and that may sound like a poor start, but they have also only been beaten twice in the opening 11 matches.

They have drawn an extraordinary eight games already this season, including all five of their home matches.

With rotation in the side, it seems Monk is still yet to figure out his best starting XI, which will be a concern for Birmingham City fans, as we are already a quarter of the way through the season.

However, Che Adams has been a regular in Monk's starting XI and already has three goals to his his name in 11 appearances.

But who would make the strongest XI if all of the squad were available?

Find out here.....

Camp has received a considerable amount of criticism during his time at Sunderland, and it has followed a similar trend at Birmingham, but with three clean sheets already this season, he is keeping youngster Connal Trueman out of the side.

Pederson has one assist to his name this season and has played in all of Birmingham's league matches this season. He is their 2nd highest player on the Whoscored average match rating as well, only behind striker Lucas Jutkiewicz.

The centre back has played every match for Birmingham and he and Morrison have made a strong partnership together in the centre of defence.

Morrison has played every single minute of Birmingham's league campaign this season and will be hoping to continue that run with some more impressive defensive performances alongside his centre back partner Harlee Dean.

Colin is part of a back four that is cementing their positions more and more each week. He has featured in all of Birmingham's matches this season and is a good option to have going forward as well.

Maghoma has featured in all of Birmingham's 11 league games this season and it's clear to see why. He has two assists to his name, and his pace and trickery causes full backs problems all game.

Gardner has played in all but two league matches for the Blues this season, but still still completes an average of two interceptions and two tackles per game so Gardner's defensive side of the game allows Kieftenbeld to roam further up the pitch.

Kieftenbeld was harshly sent off in Birmingham's hard fought 1-1 draw away to Brentford but makes the strongest XI. He boasts the highest passing accuracy in the side, completing 73% of his passes.

Jota remains one of Garry Monk's sides biggest threats going forward. He has two goals to his name this season and has featured in all 11 games this season and you can expect to see him in the starting XI for the majority of the season.

His strike partner may grab the headlines more often but Jutkiewicz puts just as much of a shift in as Che Adams. He has already netted as many goals as him this season and a considerable amount of his hard work off the ball goes unnoticed but without him, Adams wouldn't be scoring as many as he currently is.

If Birmingham are going to push higher up in the table, it is going to be because of the partnership between Adams and Jutkiewicz. The pair have already scored six times between them with three goals each and will be confident that they can continue to establish the partnership even further as the season progresses.
