The transfer activity is starting to pick up at West Brom as Darren Moore looks to build a squad that can bounce back to the Premier League straight away.

The Baggies have already lost defender Jonny Evans and have placed a bid for Bobby Reid as they look to add firepower to the team.

And, a lot more deals are expected in the coming weeks with Albion likely to face a battle to keep hold of some of their better players.

However, Moore will be backed financially with the West Midlands side having parachute payments and income from the sale of players, to bring in some proven Championship performers.

Here we look at two incomings and two outgoings that fans will hope happen at The Hawthorns before the season starts...

Bringing in a new centre-back has to be a priority with Evans off and potentially Hegazi and Dawson following him out the door.

Flint would be an ideal replacement, with the powerful Bristol City man easily one of the best defenders in the league.

The Baggies have been linked with the Brentford man and he would be an outstanding signing.

Moore will have to focus on improving the style of play and a midfield playmaker will be crucial to that - and there are few better in the Championship than Woods.

The Welsh international hasn't really delivered since making a free transfer move to The Hawthorns.

He was often used as a substitute last season but made little impact. Even though dropping to the Championship should benefit the 29-year old, he still hasn't convinced that he deserves an opportunity or that he could be the man to fire them to promotion.
