Nottingham Forest have been without a manager for almost a month now, after parting ways with hapless Frenchman Philippe Montanier on January 14th.

Gary Brazil has assumed caretaker manager responsibilities and results have picked up drastically with Forest, in turn, climbing up the table away from the relegation zone.

Whilst Gary Brazil is expected to be offered the job until the end of the season, Fawaz Al Hasawi might be tempted to bring in another manager instead.

We all know how unpredictable Al Hasawi can be, after he pulled the plug on a potential takeover by an American consortium last month.

Al Hasawi has already tried to tempt Nigel Clough to leave Burton Albion and join Forest but Clough is dedicated to keeping the Brewers in the Championship.

Here, we look at two managers that Nottingham Forest should consider appointing if they opt against giving Brazil the job until the end of the year.

Gary Rowett

Gary Rowett has been without a job since Birmingham inexplicably and controversially sacked him in December.

He worked wonders at Burton Albion and then Birmingham on very limited resources and is reportedly very interested in the Nottingham Forest job.

However, he has ruled out joining the club under the current structure so Al Hasawi will have to majorly convince Rowett of the club's ambition and direction if he is to land the in-demand young manager.

Darrell Clarke

Another promising young English manager to consider is Darrell Clarke.

Clarke has done a magnificent job at Bristol Rovers, taking them from non-league to League One via back to back promotions.

He has continued that success this season and Rovers are just outside the play-off zone in League One so Clarke deserves a crack at the Championship.
