Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will head into training this morning knowing that midfielder Samu Saiz won't be there, with him heading out of the club in January on loan to Spanish club Getafe, as confirmed by the club website.

Saiz had a great start to the season but his form has tailed off and after feeling unsettled at the club, has decided to make a move away on loan with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.

So who will fill the Saiz void? Can Pablo Hernandez be the man to fill the Saiz void?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

He’s the answer to most questions asked around Leeds’ creativity, so why not that one?

If Saiz going was a major problem, Bielsa wouldn’t have sanctioned it.

So, whatever he has planned, it’s close to fruition.

I think Izzy Brown will step up personally.

Alfie Burns

Absolutely – if anything he’s an upgrade on Saiz.

When Hernandez switched to a central role against Bolton, Leeds took complete control of the game.

Against Villa this weekend, it has to be the tactic Bielsa turns to.

Jacob Potter

He’s the perfect man to fill the void.

Hernandez has really stepped up to the plate this season and has been Leeds’ star performer this season.

I have no doubt in saying that he is the man to fill the void left by Saiz.

Hernandez already has 7 goals and 7 assists to his name this season and is easily Leeds’ best attacking threat going forward.

George Harbey

I think he is.

I firmly believe that his best, most effective position is right behind the striker, a position which has often been switched around due to the presence of Saiz.

He may be getting on a bit, but what a player he is.
