Brentford's 2015/16 Player of the Year Alan Judge is making steady progress and could potentially be back in action by mid-November.

The Irishman suffered a horrific broken leg after a horror tackle from Ipswich Town's Luke Hyam in April, and missed out on the European Championships this summer.

It was a harsh end to a fantastic season for the diminutive winger, who racked up an impressive 14 league goals for the Bees in his best year to date.

The problem with the 27-year-old returning in November, however, is that Brentford might struggle to retain his services in January.

Brentford could probably get quite a handy sum for Alan Judge but they would need to find a replacement.

They have lacked creativity in the midfield regions at times this season.

Here are THREE players who would be perfect replacements for Judge, if he is to be sold in January...

Callum McManaman

Callum McManamand

Callum McManaman has not featured at all for West Brom this season after his summer moves away from the Hawthorns failed to materialise.

The exciting 25-year-old winger was brilliant whilst at Wigan but has not been given a fair chance at West Brom and could leave in January.

Brentford would need to replace Alan Judge's creativity in the wide areas and McManaman would be more than capable of thriving in the second tier.

Marcus Maddison

How Marcus Maddison is still playing League One football is astonishing.

The Peterborough winger has earned his route back into professional football after a spell in non-league with Gateshead Town and is now terrorising defences for Posh.

The versatile left-footed 23-year-old already has six goals and five assists to his name this season so he could definitely make the step up to the Championship.

Ryan Fraser

fraserrrrr

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser was a key man in their 2014/15 promotion winning season, but has since been restricted to a peripheral figure at Dean Court.

The 22-year-old winger has played just two league games for the Cherries this season, and might look for a move back to the Championship in January if he continues to be cast aside.

After a successful spell at Ipswich last season, Brentford know that the Scotland youth international has the ability to produce the goods in the second tier.
