Sheffield Wednesday survived a major scare just before half-time in their crucial game against Nottingham Forest as Keiren Westwood saved a Lewis Grabban penalty.

The Owls went into the game knowing they need to better Derby County’s result today, but realistically it’s one they need to win.

And, it looked as though they were going to have an uphill battle in the second half when Westwood gave a penalty away just before the break.

The Ireland international was careless in possession initially, before Adam Reach played a disastrous pass back to the keeper, which let Anthony Knockaert through.

Westwood then brought the Forest attacker down for what was a clear penalty. But, he redeemed himself, with a fantastic save down low to his left to deny Grabban the opener.
