According to reports from the Scottish Sun, Stoke City have made an "audacious bid" for Scotland manager Steve Clarke.

The 56-year-old has endured a mixed start to life in charge of the national side, winning only two out of six games in charge thus far.

But the two-time SFWA Manager of the Year has enjoyed impressive spells in club management, with his time at Kilmarnock standing out.

He guided Killie to a third-placed finish in the SPFL table last term, helping them qualify for Europe.

He also finished 8th in the Premier League in charge of West Bromwich Albion in 2013 - the Baggies' highest-ever finish in the top-flight to date.

Having already been rejected and reported by Preston North End for an illegal approach for Alex Neil, Stoke will be looking to make an appointment as swiftly as possible.

With the Potters sitting six points adrift of safety at the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship table, here, we take a look at Stoke fans' thoughts of Clarke potentially taking over.
