Leeds United may be interested in the news that Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah's hopes for a contract extension at Villa Park has been put on the back-burner, despite the fact that his contract ends this summer.

Leeds were keen on the 31-year-old in the summer, but he decided to stay at Villa Park and despite clubs supposedly being interested in the player in the January window, Adomah chose to stay and fight for his place in Dean Smith's side.

So with the news that Adomah contract is not a priority at Villa, should Leeds look to make another play for the winger?

We discuss........

Jay Taylor

“He’s too old for them now; his time has been and gone.

“I think he wouldn’t add what Leeds need if he were to move to the club.

“It would have been a good signing three-years ago.”

Jacob Potter

"I’d steer clear of this one.

"Adomah isn’t an upgrade on what Leeds currently have available to them and he would be a waste of wages.

"There are better options out there for the promotion-chasing Whites."

Gary Hutchinson

“It depends which league they’re in.

“If they go up, no.

“He’s not Premier League material after all.

“If they stay down, why not/”

Alfie Burns

“If they miss out on promotion this is a deal they should look to do.

“Adomah is a great option in the Championship and he’d score plenty of goals in this Leeds side.

“However, he isn’t a Premier League player, so you’ve got to feel this one rests on who wins promotion.”
