Despite a good start to the Championship season Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis is still keen to add to his ranks, and Mo Besic the 25-year-old midfielder from Everton has made the loan move to the Riverside.

The Bosnian, who was on loan at Boro last season could go straight into the squad for tonight's fixture against West Brom.

But should Pulis pick Besic to start?

We discuss.....

Jay Williams

Although Besic played for Middlesbrough last year and is familiar with Tony Pulis' style of play, he has arrived too soon before the game.

After signing on Thursday, it is difficult to be thrust straight into the starting line-up on the Friday evening.

I would start him on the bench for tonight's clash with the Baggies.

However, I would also be looking to integrate him into the first-team as soon as he is fully fit and back to his best.

Boro haven’t been doing badly, so no matter how good or integral he’s going to be, I’m not sure you change a winning side.

On the face of it, yes he should come in.

You have to think of team spirit, balance and a host of other things.

I always like to see a new signing come off the bench, it shows respect to the current squad if they’ve been doing well.

George Dagless

I'd say no.

I think he is a good player and will play a lot this season but he perhaps isn't quite up to speed match-fitness wise.

Boro are playing well so there's no need to rush him into action.
