Norwich City manager Daniel Farke faces a real battle on his hands if he is to hold onto 21-year-old defender Ben Godfrey with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United all keen on a summer move for the player.

Godfrey has been in fine form for the Canaries with three goals and two assists in 27 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

So of the big three clubs chasing Godfrey, which would be the best club for him to join and why?

We discuss........

Jay Taylor

“Out of the three, I'd say Liverpool.

“You see what they have done with Andy Robertson and Joe Gomez – and could well do the same of Godfrey.

“He is a talent and Klopp isn’t afraid to snap players up from the Championship.”

Jacob Potter

"If I had to pick one, I’d say Arsenal.

"I don’t think a move to any of the big clubs would be a smart move by Godfrey as he won’t be getting the game time he needs to develop.

"But Arsenal could rotate their squads and give him a chance so I’d have to pick them."

Gary Hutchinson

“None of those.

“They’re not going to play him, he’ll go there and end up being loaned out.

“No, if he were going to move it should be to a club who will give him regular football.

“If Norwich go up, no need to leave at all.”

Alfie Burns

“They haven’t been developing too many players in recent years, but Manchester United would be good for Godfrey.

“They’re weak in the centre of defence, and someone with Godfrey’s aggression and style could thrive there under the management umbrella currently in place.

“Maybe not in 2019/20, but I think he’d have an impact at Old Trafford.”
