The pressure is really building on Stoke City boss Nathan Jones ahead of tonight’s game against fellow strugglers Huddersfield Town at the Bet365 Stadium.
A dismal return of two points from nine games means the Potters are bottom of the Championship and already six points from safety.
Therefore, it’s no surprise to see that there is plenty of talk that Jones will be dismissed, with reports emerging in the past 24 hours suggesting that Tony Pulis could be set for a third spell with the club.
And, rumours on Twitter have surfaced implying that Alan Pardew may be holding talks with the club about taking over.

The former Newcastle chief has been out of work since leaving West Brom who were bottom of the Premier League at the time back in April 2018.
It’s fair to say that the prospect of the 58-year-old taking over at Stoke has not gone down well with the fans.
Here we look at some of the reaction to the idea of him replacing Jones…
I'd rather keep Jones

Initial thoughts are NO! But then i didn't want TP back a second time, and though Rowett and Jones would be superb – I guess I don't know anything anymore 🙈 #SCFC
