Nottingham Forest are expected to busy in the January transfer window, with a new forward likely to be on Sabri Lamouchi's radar.

The Reds bid farewell to the likes of Apostolos Vellios, Hillal Soudani, Jason Cummings and Daryl Murphy over the course of the summer, but failed to replace them.

This has left Forest lacking real depth up top - Lewis Grabban and Rafa Mir are the club's only out-and-out striking options, so an injury to one of those two could be detrimental to their promotion hopes.

Plenty of names have been linked with a move to the City Ground, including Newcastle United forward Dwight Gayle, who scored 24 goals in all competitions on loan with West Brom last term.

But they will need to identify plenty of targets, and one name that has emerged as a talking point on social media is Jonathan Kodjia.

Kodjia has found game-time hard to come by for Aston Villa this season, making just two Premier League appearances and playing just 20 minutes of league football this term.

The Ivorian is a proven goalscorer at Championship level - the 30-year-old netted 20 times in 49 league games for Bristol City, and 29 times in 92 league games for Villa.

With reports claiming that Dean Smith will listen to offers for Kodjia in January, we take a look at what Forest fans have been saying...
