Nottingham Forest have been hit with an injury blow of late, with Samba Sow looking doubtful for the trip to Cardiff City on Tuesday night.

The midfielder was absent from the squad that faced Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon, with Sabri Lamouchi's side being held to a 0-0 draw at the City Ground.

After the game, Lamouchi admitted that it was a "serious injury", and he could be missing as Forest look to come up against Cardiff City in South Wales in midweek.

Sow's injury is a reoccurring knee problem which saw him miss over two months of the season between October and December, and his absence will be a big blow for the Reds.
