Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will be encouraged by the news that both Gaetano Barardi and Barry Douglas are fit again and available for selection.

Their return though puts pressure on the starting XI to see whether they can hold onto their place.

In the absence of Douglas, Ezgjan Alioski has filled in at full-back with Jack Harrison starting out on the wing, but the 22-year-old Manchester City loanee could miss out if Bielsa brings Douglas in at full-back, pushing Alioski forward to his favoured wing position.

So should Harrison be fearing for his place in the Leeds starting XI?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"I’d be sweating if I was him.

"Harrison has hardly set the world alight this season and he could definitely be replaced by Alioski if he is shifted to his natural position out wide.

"He might be given one more chance though, and has to perform to a high standard."

Alfie Burns

“Harrison has done very well in recent weeks but this is the tactic Bielsa will be expected to return to in the coming weeks.

“Getting Douglas back to his best has to be the aim in the coming weeks, as he could make such a difference.

“Then, whilst Alioski has been very good at left-back, he will feel his impact is greater on the wing.”

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes.

“Harrison was poor this weekend and he’s been too inconsistent.

“I’m not sure what the future holds for him.

“He won’t get in at Man City either.”

Jay Taylor

“He should – any player should – but if he plays well enough then there is no reason why he can’t keep his place in the side.

“No player has a divine right to keep their place in the side – it has to be earned.

“So with Douglas back, it is added competition for Harrison as Alioski could move forward back to his left-wing role and battle it out with the Man City loanee.”
