Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will face competition if he tries to sign Portsmouth striker Ronan Curtis in the January transfer window, with a number of clubs circling for the player as reported on TeamTalk.

Curtis, who has scored six goals and had six assists in 15 appearances for Portsmouth this season in League One, has brushed off any talk of a move away from Fratton Park, and is keen to remain at Pompey as reported on iNews.

After these comments from Curtis, can you envisage Leeds making a move now?

We discuss.....

I can see Leeds trying to sign anyone who is doing well as they need to add depth to their side.

But with Portsmouth doing well so far, and sitting pretty at the top of League One, I can’t see him moving anytime soon.

Ronan Curtis is right to brush off the speculation as he has his own promotion fight on his hands but I would not be surprised to see Leeds come in for him in the new year.

The stumbling block would surely be money.

Curtis is a top player and has impressed in League One, but Portsmouth wouldn’t just sell him for any amount.

They’re pointing in the right direction now and in order to improve they need to hang on to their top players.

I can see him being targeted, but not moving.

I'd be surprised if this happens now.

Curtis looks set to stay at Fratton Park judging by these comments, and for him personally, it'd be the best move.

He needs frequent game-time week in, week out and there is question marks as to whether he would get that at Leeds.
