Birmingham City will be resigned to losing top scorer Che Adams in the summer, with several Premier League sides circling.

The 22-year-old has been in fantastic form in this campaign, scoring 22 goals in the league, which saw him nominated for the Championship Player of the Year award.

As you would expect, such fine performances have not gone unnoticed and Blues had a real battle to keep hold of Adams in January.

Whilst they managed it then, it appears inevitable he will go in the summer with The Sun reporting Southampton, Everton, Burnley and Norwich are keen on the player.

They also state that the West Midlands outfit will demand up to £15m for their star man.

So, would that be a fair price for Adams? Here our writers take a look...

Alfie Burns

"After walking out of St Andrew’s on Saturday I claimed ‘if Patrick Bamford is worth £7m, Adams must be worth £35m'.

"Of course, he isn’t, but he was streets ahead of Bamford at the weekend and I actually think £15m would be a very reasonable price for the striker.

"If I were in Birmingham’s shoes I’d be pushing for more."

Jacob Potter

"It's as much as they'll get.

"He's a striker that is in-demand, and I just can't see Birmingham being able to command much more than this.

"They should cash in on him for this price, otherwise he could grow frustrated and force a move away for a smaller transfer fee."

George Brooks

"Adams has had an outstanding season for Birmingham and I’m sure the Blues will be reluctant to lose one of their key players, but I think £15million would be a reasonable price tag for the striker.

"While he has no Premier League experience, Adams has proved himself to be on the most prolific strikers in the Championship and could have what it takes to succeed at a higher level."
