Bradford City boss Gary Bowyer believes that winger Sean Scannell is Championship quality, despite the fact he'll be plying his trade in League Two next season.

Scannell has missed much of the campaign through injury and has been unable to prevent the Bantams slipping out of League One with a whimper. They are the only club to be relegated from the third tier thus far, with Walsall likely to join them this weekend.

Bowyer, who will remain at the club next season, told the Telegraph and Argus that he believed the 28-year-old could play in the Championship and that he hopes he'll remain with the Bantams to spearhead their attack in the basement division.

Whilst the manager's words might be a boost to Scannell, the thoughts of some of the fan base might not be. They've suffered badly in the last 18 months, watching their club go from aspiring Championship side to bottom of the table.

They're not agreeing with the manager at all, instead choosing to take to Twitter to question exactly what it is the former Blackpool boss sees in Scannell that's so exciting.

Here's the pick of their responses.
