Former Arsenal striker and now pundit Ian Wright was someone who knew where the net was during his time in the game.

Over 150 goals for Arsenal in an illustrious career ensured the former England man is now a Gunners legend, and he is a player who wears his heart on its sleeve when it comes to his beloved Gunners.

He is also someone who keeps his eye firmly on the young players at the club, and that was on display today as he took to Twitter to seemingly sing the praises of young Leeds United striker Eddie Nketiah.

Nketiah once again got himself on the scoresheet today as his Leeds team saw off Barnsley at Oakwell to jump back to the top of the Championship, and there's clearly a relationship of sorts there with the player and Wright, given Nketiah's response.

Nketiah will be hoping to emulate the former Arsenal striker as best he can, and will surely be delighted if he can hit half as many Premier League goals as Wright managed during his career.

The youngster once again came off the bench for Leeds as they took all three points in a close affair in South Yorkshire. Calls for Nketiah to start more games are beginning to grow from the Leeds fans, who are getting frustrated at regular striker Patrick Bamford's inability to hit the back of the net.
