Leeds United kept up the pressure on league leaders West Brom with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Preston North End at Deepdale.

Eddie Nketiah scored a late equaliser on the night, as he headed home from Jack Harrison's cross to spark jubilant scenes from the travelling Leeds supporters.

The Arsenal loanee is still yet to make a league start for Marcelo Bielsa's side, and it's a subject that has been the main talking point for the majority of this year's campaign.

Nketiah took to Instagram following his goal against the Lilywhites, and will be hoping that he can add to his goal tally as the season progresses.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has issued some kind words of advice for the Leeds striker,

It has previously been reported by The Sun that Arsenal are considering recalling Nketiah from his loan spell at Elland Road, with the forward voicing his frustrations at his lack of regular minutes with Leeds in an interview with Sky Sports.

It remains to be seen as to whether Nketiah will be rewarded for his fine run of form for when Leeds are next in action, as they travel to Hillsborough to take on Sheffield Wednesday in what will be a tough test for Bielsa's men.

The Verdict:

I think he's going to be one to watch for the future.

Nketiah can't do much more to convince Marcelo Bielsa that he deserves a shot in the Leeds starting XI on a consistent basis, and I'm still confused as to why he hasn't been given more of an opportunity in the team ahead of Patrick Bamford.

Wright's comments are definitely going to motivate Nketiah to improve as the season progresses, and if he can continue to impress, then it wouldn't come as a surprise to see him challenging for a spot in the Arsenal team in the near future.
