The verdict

The start to the season that Coventry have enjoyed has been remarkable really considering that there would have been few people tipping them to challenge for the top-six at the start of the campaign.

Robins has got his side in a mode where they are full of belief and confidence and you can only see them growing from strength to strength over the coming weeks.

Momentum is a massive thing in the Championship and the longer the Sky Blues can keep on with their current form the more difficult it will be for other teams in and around the top-six places to keep up with them.

Maatsen has been an excellent addition to the squad and he sums up the thoughtful recruitment that goes on with their budget to allow them to compete with some of the biggest sides in the Championship.

Against Peterborough, the defender delivered another very strong and mature performance and he is becoming one of their most crucial players as his consistency improves.
