Aston Villa host Championship basement side Ipswich Town at the weekend with Dean Smith's side looking to take maximum points,to allow them to start closing in on the play-off places as we get to the business end of the season.

Of the decisions that Smith needs to make ahead of the match, one revolves around 20-year-old winger Andre Green.

The winger was recalled from his loan stint at League One side Portsmouth and is now in contention to feature in Villa's match with the Tractorboys on Saturday.

So should Smith be looking to give Green a start this weekend?

We discuss.....

Louie Chandler

"Definitely.

"It would make for a wonderful contrast to the desire and effort shown by Bolasie in recent months and the fans would love to see it.

"Villa fans are very proud of their academy but have perhaps not seen it utilised to its fullest."

Gary Hutchinson

“I wouldn't start him.

“There’s value in having him on the bench, but he wasn’t starting for Portsmouth.

“No, I’d be tempted to bring him on after 65 minutes, depending on the score of course.

“He needs time and settle back into the side.”

Jay Taylor

“He put him on for the last 30 mins last week and did well and with Yannick Bolasie returning to Everton, he could well be in line to start.

“Given his impressive loan spell at Portsmouth, it be best he does start to keep his form going.

“I don’t see what harm it does to start him this weekend – Smith should go for it.”
