This season the Championship is certainly delivering an exciting promotion race, with a huge number of teams still in the hunt for either an automatic spot or a play-off place, as we enter the business end of the season.

Goals have been aplenty in the English second tier with Che Adams at Birmingham City and Tammy Abraham on loan at Aston Villa both chipping in with 21 goals so far his season.

But who should be considered the better striker of the two?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“That’s like asking me if I want a £50 note or two £20’s and a £10.

“They’re both class.

“Adams has a raw quality I like, perhaps it’s the non-league origins.

“Abraham has a strut and confidence that’s hard to ignore.

“Of the two, I’d go for Adams. I love a success story.”

Jay Taylor

“I would rather Che Adams – he has come from the bottom to being a wanted man in the Championship, having grafted to be where he is.

“You’d want that in a team – someone that football means everything to.

“There is no denying Abraham’s talent but having been loaned to Villa from Chelsea; he sees it as a stepping stone whereas Adams’ mentality is different.

“Football ability aside, I would prefer to have the Blues man out on the pitch when it mattered.”
