Nottingham Forest manager Martin O’Neill has a number of selection decisions to make, ahead of the trip to basement side Ipswich Town this weekend, on the back of a defeat to play-off rivals Aston Villa midweek.
Iranian striker Karim Ansarifard started for O’Neill against Villa, but was subbed on 62 mins being replaced by veteran striker Daryl Murphy.
So should Ansarifard hold onto his place and start this weekend?
“I’m not sure.
“I know he did not have the best of games midweek, but I still feel it would be harsh to drop him on one performance alone.
“But Forest need wins so I would not be surprised to see O’Neill drop him.”
“Not after his recent antics, no.
“When your own fans are calling you out for diving, you need to take a look at yourself.
“If I were a Forest fan, I wouldn’t want to see him again.”
“It depends how O’Neill is going to set up, I think.
“He may have scored the other week, but I don’t think he has been supremely convincing.
“But I don’t see training day in and day out – so who am I to judge his influence!
“I feel O’Neill will start Ansarifard tomorrow.”
