Aston Villa have had a torrid time with injuries this season, after some of their key players were forced to sit out on the sidelines, but news of a return to training for Andre Green will lift the spirits at Villa Park. 

After sustaining a hamstring injury back in September in their draw against Brentford at Griffin Park, the 19-year-old later underwent a minor surgery on his hamstring.

Indeed, the promising winger has been one of the rising star's at Villa Park as he looked to be breaking into the first-team with a regular place, after scoring his first senior goal for the Villains in their 4-2 win over Norwich back in August.

But, the recent news of the wingers return to training will delight Steve Bruce as he looks to take the load off Albert Adomah, while incorporating the youngster back into his plans.

The Villa starlet is hungry to improve on his 5 appearances made in the first-team this season, as he recently took to his personal Twitter (@AndreGreen_) to post a picture of himself back in training to notify fans of his return.

Indeed, following the post from the midfielder, Villa fans took to show their excitement for the youngster as they congratulated him on his return to football.
