It is looking likely that this summer Leeds United will be in the market for a new goalkeeper, as the Whites look to put a difficult 2017/18 campaign behind them.

Andy Lonergan and Felix Wiedwald competed for the No.1 jersey for much of the Sky Bet Championship season, but their inconsistency led to Bailey Peacock-Farrell earning an opportunity towards the end of the campaign.

The 21-year-old will be in contention for a starting berth next season, but with Lonergan and Wiedwald looking likely to be on their way out of Elland Road, Peacock-Farrell’s competition will come from elsewhere.

One former Leeds goalkeeper who is available is Rob Green, with the Yorkshire Evening Post confirming that Huddersfield Town had released the former England international.

Green, 38, was ever-present for Leeds in the Championship during the 2016/17 campaign, impressing during his only season at Elland Road under Garry Monk.
