Ipswich Town have made a solid start to life in League One and currently sit in eighth place table with three matches played and are yet to be beaten.
And with the summer transfer window remaining open for club’s in the third and fourth tiers, they were able to add to their arsenal, bringing in Will Keane on a free transfer.
✍️ We're delighted to announce the return of Will Keane on a deal until the end of the season with the option of a further 12 months.
Welcome back, Will! #itfc

He signs a one-year deal at Portman Road club which includes the option for Ipswich to extend the deal by an extra-year if they want to next summer.
Keane spent the second half of last season on loan with the Tractor Boys under Paul Lambert, netting three goals in 12 appearances as they were relegated from the Championship.
Graduating through the Manchester United youth system, making just three first-team appearances, Keane spent time out on loan with Wigan, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End before signing permanently for Hull in the summer of 2016.
But despite his problems in the past, this is a deal that the majority of fans appear to be backing…
Excellent signing, 12 months with an option of another year. Wont please everybody, but he will be decent at L1 level, wont play every week but gives us a different option which we need #itfc

Class if he can get fit. Just the kind of striker we need.
