Sunderland managed to pick up a respectable point away at Molineux against Wolves on Saturday.

However, the Black Cats had to play some of the match with ten men, after midfielder Lee Cattermole was sent off.

Cattermole is of course no stranger to a red card, but he's proving to be a liability for the Mackems.

Is it time for Coleman to be ruthless and drop the captain from the starting eleven going forwards?

We discuss....

George Dagless

I was lost for words when I saw he'd been sent off.

Not, of course, because it is rare for him but because of how well Sunderland were doing and how he jeopardised a massive result.

He should be dropped for a few games at least.

Adam Simeoni

He should be a leader in this team, but is proving nothing but a liability. Cattermole should be setting an example to Sunderland's young stars, but his hot-headedness will not keep the Black Cats up this season.

He is lucky his side managed to escape from Molineux with a point.

Chris Gallagher

Yes, what was he thinking?

Already on a booking his second challenge was so stupid and despite his record over the years you expect better from an experienced player.

Obviously he will be suspended for the next game and a lot will depend on how they do. If Sunderland put in another positive display then Cattermole could be out the side for a while.

Alfie Burns

It will be interesting to see how Sunderland manage without Cattermole, as for me, they’ll be a lot better without him.

If Coleman’s side can pick up a positive result in Cattermole’s absence, we could be looking at the end to the midfielder’s spell at the Stadium of Light.
